									    HR Generalist - Evonik Industries
    The Human Resources Generalist will report to the Human Resources Manager and will
    be responsible for providing support to assigned businesses areas. Support may
    include any area of Human Resources including staffing, employee relations, EEO,
    compensation and benefits, administering and interpreting HR policies and procedures
    to ensure compliance with company goals and objectives.

    Principal Accountabilities:

     Partner with managers from assigned areas to provide HR support and guidance to
      the business
     Provide counsel as needed to all employees and managers in assigned areas on all
      matters of employment, including orientation, recruiting and performance.
     Develop positive relationships with managers in assigned areas.
     Drive the resolution of performance management issues assisting with performance
      appraisals, recommending and planning promotions and salary increases, working
      with managers to improve performance including preparing performance improvement
      letters and plans
     Conduct new employee orientations at headquarters to ensure employees gain an
      understanding of benefit plans and enrollment provisions. Counsels employees (and
      potential employees/applicants) on plan provisions so that individuals can make
      informed benefit decisions.

    Job Description

     Must have a bachelor’s degree. MBA would be a plus.
     A minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in a Corporate Human Resources
      department is desired
