Reviews invoices for accuracy and completeness. Sorts documents by account name or number and processes invoices for
payment. Enters or oversees the entry of the daily time sheets. Performs other basic clerical duties associated with accounts
payable. May post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES (What do you have to be able to do to achieve the desired results of your job? Include management

Gathers invoices and reviews for approval and properly GL codes the invoices
Enters the approved invoices into the system for payment
Enters the daily timesheets into the system
Maintain various spread sheets
Make copies for accounting issues
Discusses payment issues with vendors
Assists in special projects
Perform additional duties as requested by the Accounting Manager
GENERAL DESCRIPTION (How would you describe this job to someone who has never done it?)
The majority of this positions time (about 60%) is spent dealing with vendor invoices. 20 to 30 percent of one’s time is spent
entering daily time reports. 5 to 10 percent of one’s time is spent reporting.
The remaining time is spent on other activities and special projects assigned by the Accounting Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (What is required to perform the Essential Duties?)
Requires understanding of bookkeeping procedures and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. A high-energy "roll-up your sleeves" attitude, must be highly detail oriented,
organized and able to work in a fast paced environment. Proficiency in MS Excel and Word and Great Plains experience a plus
