Building on the work done in previous annual conferences, this first jointly planned
conference will cover key themes for leadership in special education settings. It offers a time
to spend with colleagues both professionally and socially.

Programme will include:

THURSDAY 15TH MARCH - Arrivals from 1p.m. Conference opens at 2 p.m.

Dr Tina Rae, Academic Tutor, University of East London, introduces the conference theme

Janet Thompson HMI, National Advisor for SEND, Ofsted - “The New Framework”

TEACH MEET – a forum for delegates to explain and share current initiatives and ideas

Conference Annual Dinner followed by Quiz Night.


FRIDAY 16TH MARCH – sessions start at 9 a.m.

Professor Barry Carpenter OBE “New Generation Leadership”

Three 30 minute Workshops, delegates can attend each one.
