Warren Cabe joins the Town of Franklin as the new Fire and Emergency Management Director It is with great pleasure on the behalf of the Town of Franklin to announce Warren Cabe as the new Fire and Emergency Management Director. Warren brings a multitude of valuable knowledge and experience to the Town of Franklin. Warren has served as the Macon County Director of Emergency Services since 1996, and has also served as the Assistant Fire Chief at the Clarks Chapel Fire and Rescue, as well as serving Macon County as a paramedic. In addition to his many years of service Warren is a graduate of Mars Hill College where he received his B.S. in Business Administration, and a graduate of Southwestern CC where he received his North Carolina EMT and Paramedic Certification. He has spent many years obtaining additional education and certifications in his role as Director of Emergency Services such as Chief 101 Certification, Incident Management Systems Certification, and Lean Government training from NC State University, etc. Warren also plays an active role in the community and is a member of the Franklin Fire Department, a Board Member at the Burningtown-Iotla Fire & Rescue, and a Board member at Macon County Carenet. The decision was reached on August 1st and Warren will plan to step into this role late August.
