Nyah was a beautiful little girl who touched the hearts and lives of many.
There is a purpose for all of us in this world. She taught us to love
unconditionally, to appreciate laughter, and to wonder at the world. Nyah
was a donor and she gave the gift of life to (2) children, one in Clark County
and the other in Southern California. In order to keep her legacy of helping
others to learn their purpose in this world, a memorial scholarship has been
established in her name. Please use the attached application to apply.

                      Nyah Dalton Memorial Scholarship


The Dalton Family is pleased to offer a $500 scholarship to an outstanding 2011 White
Pine High School graduate. Applicants must complete the attached application form and
return it to the school’s scholarship coordinator/counselor. Selection criteria include
academic performance, GPA, need, extracurricular activities and community service.
Recipients must enroll as full-time students at their selected college for the 2011 fall
semester. Distribution of scholarship monies will be made through the college’s financial
aid office. Recipients must provide a Proof of Enrollment to: White Pine High School.

                       Requirements and Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicants must have applied and been accepted to a 2 or 4 year college
   or university.

2. Scholarship funds may be used for tuition and/or books.

3. Applicants must include two letters of recommendation; one must be
   from a teacher and a copy of high school transcript.

4. Applicants must include a typed personal statement, of not more than 300
   words, describing obstacles they have, or must overcome in order to
   complete high school and move on to college.
