The Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services (DCCSDS) works to strengthen and
protect the wellbeing of Queenslanders, particularly those who are vulnerable and most in need. The
department provides services ranging from everyday support for families and individuals to organising
specialised services in emergencies.
