QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING
To have completed an indentured apprenticeship, including            √
certified skills or a minimum of tens years evidence of time
served
To have current and relevant qualifications with associated          √
body if required.
Qualified to current 17th Edition Regulations                        √
Qualified to 2391 Test and Inspect                                             √
GCSE English at grades A-C.                                                    √
GCSE Mathematics at grades A-C.                                                √
CSCS card holder                                                     √
Asbestos Awareness trained                                                     √
EXPERIENCE
Adequate experience on all aspects of the building industry.         √
Previous experience social housing maintenance                                 √
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Able to inspect, assess and complete electrical repairs              √
Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholder                 √
including but not limited to: residents, client representatives
and colleagues
Able to read guidance notes and instructions on work                 √
materials and equipment.
Able to read construction drawings and plans.                                  √
Capable of understanding managerial instructions. Able to            √
organise work in a methodical manner for maximum
effectiveness and efficiency.
Have a good understanding of current H&S legislation and             √
good practices.
GENERAL ATTRIBUTES
Must make favourable impact on tenants and other                     √
customers.
Be polite and courteous to members of the public.                    √
Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.                √
Must be honest, loyal, trustworthy and produce work to               √
