Entries have been coming in steadily all week. There are some creative and interesting pieces. The work of art can be in any medium but must use an outline map of Australia somewhere in the finished piece. All work of a high quality will go on display in the library corridor in our Australia gallery. The display will start to appear next week. School Council elections: Congratulations to the winning candidates, listed below, at our elections last week and a big thank you, also to the children who stood for election but were unsuccessful. We can only make our democracy work if we have people who are prepared to participate in elections so I am pleased that our elections were well fought. I am looking forward to working with the councillors to improve our school still further.
