Charge: The Project Training Team will be responsible for providing the training component of
the project, including developing the training plan as well as a technical assistance plan for the
project and for each site. The PTT will collaborate with the Council of Residency Directors, the
Curriculum Committee and Evaluation Team to insure that implementation fidelity (and
adaptations) is documented, that participating sites and faculty are knowledgeable in the SBIRT
curriculum, and that troubleshooting and technical assistance protocols are in place.

Charge: The Curriculum Committee will conduct an assessment of the current curricula at each
institution and evaluate to what degree the components required for the SBIRT curriculum are
established and when necessary, developed. The committee will work closely with the Council
of Residency Directors to ensure that curriculum implementation is appropriate, feasible,
monitored, and evaluated within each participating site. The CC will also collaborate with the
evaluation team in an ongoing manner to assess residents’ perceptions and beliefs about the
curriculum, as encouraged in the RFA.

(process evaluation) and collect all relevant data pertaining to performance and outcome
measurement. These include collecting the required GPRA data, as well as any other data used
to measure program outcomes.
