Stantec’s Internal Audit team is an evolving organization, committed
to meeting the changing needs of the company while discharging its
professional responsibilities.
The Internal Auditor plays a key role in the effective delivery of high
quality internal audit services. Reporting to the Director, Internal
Audit and SOX Compliance, the successful candidate’s responsibilities

      Planning and conducting audit projects
      Maintaining controls documentation, performing tests of controls
       and evaluating results to support the periodic evaluation of
       controls as required for SOX
      Identifying improvement opportunities, developing and
       presenting recommendations to management and monitoring
       their resolution
      Working closely with the external auditors
      Providing consulting services to management


      A CA designation with 1-3 years post designation experience
       along with a solid understanding and working knowledge of audit
       concepts and the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley
      Your personal qualities include attention to detail, a commitment
       to continuous learning, and the ability to assess priorities and
       manage multiple tasks
      You have proven abilities in the areas of risk assessment and
       process analysis
      You have excellent communication skills, both written and oral,
       and the confidence and the ability to work with all levels of staff
       and management within a large entrepreneurial organization
      You work equally effectively as part of a team and independently
      You have a high level of motivation and are results oriented and
       client focused
