As part of their physical education requirement, CLP students participate in a variety
of outdoor activities, some of which have been overnight camping, rock climbing,
rappelling, caving, white water canoeing, hiking and orienteering. The purpose of
these rigorous adventures is to build self-esteem and to enhance the spirit of
community. Each activity is team oriented and supervised by professionals in the
field. Students learn to work together, to face challenges and to find success in non-
