Financial Support for Seminar Participants

Some financial support is available for participants who wish to attend the Seminar but who have
insufficient means. Participants may apply either for an ESCalate Bursary, available for post-
graduate education students or for funding from the LeOra Cordis Memorial Trust which supports
the attendance of ISTE members from economically disadvantaged countries.

LeOra Cordis Memorial Trust: Applications for registration costs

This fund was established in the memory of LeOra Cordis a Canadian founder member of ISTE.
There are limited funds available primarily to cover partly or wholly the Seminar registration fee of
some participants involved in teacher education, who have previously enrolled at previous ISTE
seminars and who come from countries that are generally described as economically
disadvantaged.

Anyone who would like to be considered for some financial support should make his/her case
known to the seminar convenors as soon as possible. The application will then be forwarded to the
LeOra Cordis trustees for decision. Please note the Trust is not able to cover all the costs for
attending the Seminar.
