Heathrow Airport to London
By Carin Robert
Heading into London from Heathrow Airport can be achieved both by public and private transportation.
Tubes, over ground trains, buses, taxis and much more are available for transferring travelers across
different destinations. What means of ground transport to choose for your transfer when you arrive at
the airport can be very confusing.
The majority of people prefer underground transport, generally called the Tube. Business travelers
choose Heathrow Express for getting to the city as it is fast and takes just 15 minutes. But, it is
comparatively more expensive when compared to the Tube. Both private and public coaches service the
Airport. Over ground commuter services like Heathrow Connect are slower, and are not as regular as the
Car rental companies offer bookings in the terminal buildings. London's famous Black Cabs rank in lines
outside all airport terminals. Choosing private hire taxis has become increasingly popular as they are
convenient, licensed, and safe when pre booked. The can provide you private transport to or from any
destination of your choice: seaports, stations, hotels or any UK postcode.
If you have a busy schedule or do not wish to waste your time waiting in queues for taxis, buses or the
tube. Expect to travel with a certain degree of comfort and safety at your convenience. Private
transportation is what you need. In festive seasons, especially during Christmas and New Year seasons,
when public transportation is unavailable or is very limited, private taxis can be the only means for
people to travel to different destinations.
