PAY Pay: £8K per annum for 16-17 yrs old, £11.1K per annum for 18+ yrs old
REPORTS TO Production Co-ordinator/ Production Manager, BBC Learning

AIM OF THE The Production Management Assistant in BBC Learning provides administrative
ROLE support to the production team/s, in order to ensure the smooth and efficient
running of productions. You will be working across all areas of Learning from TV,
Radio and Online to our outreach campaigns. You will work in partnership with
editorial colleagues to help deliver outstanding content for the BBC that is both on
time and on budget.
WHAT YOU’LL BE Over the course of your apprenticeship you will build your skills and knowledge to
DOING be able to successfully:
Provide administrative support for the production during the planning process and
set up period.
Responsible for providing the administrative support associated with managing
and monitoring production budgets.
Assist the Production Co-ordinator in the preparation and communication of
production information.
Responsible for assisting in ensuring compliance with BBC policies and guidelines,
in order to minimise the BBC’s exposure to risk. Escalates any issues promptly.
Responsible for delivering value for money in the role through effective and
efficient management of time and resources.
Understand and support the rationale for new ways of working and/or for
adopting new production related technology.
Support diversity in every aspect of the production(s).
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment at all times, escalating any
issues or areas of concern.
