on the topic "Economic Development through Agriculture". While speaking he
strongly expressed that though we are giving significance to the Agriculture
Development & Govt. is also implementing schemes for the same; still after 60 years
the various issues related to Cultivation are pending & because of it we are lagging
behind in Economic Development. He strongly urged that the New Govt. schemes
must be framed considering Agriculture Development & the planning commission pay
special attention to this. Entrepreneurship Development related to Agriculture is
lagging behind in Indian Economy hence Management should be done taking into
consideration less production, Income level in villages & water management related
to farming. He also informed the audience that agriculture products are not getting
good rates due to unavailability of proper market & due to which how Agriculture
business is running in losses. He also added that to become self-reliant it is very
necessary to use organic fertilizers to improve the productivity of land at the same
time it is important to increase the water level not only in the farmyard but also
below the ground. Also, there is need of means that can cater agricultural products
directly to the end users & eliminate domination of middlemen.
