									        Turner School of Construction Management: Presented by the City of Savannah &
                                 Turner Construction Company

BRIEF HISTORY:

The Turner School of Construction Management for Minority and Women Business Enterprise is the
oldest community outreach program in Turner’s history. Initiated in 1969, it became an opportunity to
develop strategic business relationships with minority and women-owned firms. Today, the program is
offered in more than 32 Turner Business Units all over the country.

As a service to the construction industry, Turner Construction and the City of Savannah, is offering a
training program for small, minority and women-owned businesses.

Upon completing the program, you will learn how to:

· Identify challenges of being a contractor
· Locate resources within the construction industry
· Describe Turner’s expectations of contractors

As a bonus, you will be entitled to receive complimentary web-based learning courses as well as have the
opportunity to purchase additional courses (including OSHA 30 hour course) at a discount.
