Completing The 203(k) Maximum Mortgage Worksheet (approx. 1 ½ hrs)
A must for all sales and operations staff working on 203(k)s! Goes through a purchase and refinance MMWS & “renovation lending” terminology.
Completing The HomeStyle Maximum Mortgage Worksheet (approx. 1 hr)
Goes through the completion of both a purchase and refinance maximum mortgage worksheet for the conventional version of the 203(k).
Condo’s Today (approx. 1 1/2 hrs)
Learn about condo approval, new condo projects and the difference between FHLMC and FNMA systems for spot approvals, etc.
Co op’s Today (approx. 1 1/2 hrs)
Identify the information or documents you need for a co-op at or prior to application to help the loan process go smoothly.
FHA 101 (approx. 45 minutes)
Explains the basic guidelines and requirements for FHA loans.
FHA 203K – Basics (Approx. 1 ½ hrs / Target Audience: Sales & Operations)
Gives a thorough review of the FHA 203(K). Describes the process from application through the end of the renovation period and offers many ideas for
marketing renovation loans.
FHA 203(k)Scenario Workshop (Approx. 1 ½ hrs / Target Audience: Sales & Operations)
Gives a review of the top 10 things to look for on an FHA 203(K). Come prepared to give a live scenario and be given feedback so your loan is complete and
ready to be processed as efficiently as possible.
FNMA DU Refi Plus (Approx. 1 ½ hrs / Target Audience: Sales )
Goes through the Obama Legislation and HARP refi product. This includes max LTV/CLTV/HCLTV, subordination, MI requirements and how to register the
loan with M & T. It also will help the broker identify who is eligible based on DU findings.
HomeStyle (approx. 1 hour)
During this class you will learn the guidelines for a Fannie Mae Conventional rehabilitation loan ie. maximum loan amount, types of properties that can be
rehabilitated and calculating maximum LTV on the HomeStyle MMWS. Additionally, you will learn what additional application forms are needed and what
happens after closing during the servicing of the rehabilitation.
Intro To MEME (approx. 1 hr)
Get the most out of MEME! Learn how to effectively use M&T's web-based registration system. Reviews uploading loans from your loan originating system
such as Calyx, pricing, locking and registering loans. Learn how to setup users, reset passwords and use the InfoCenter.
Intro to Mortgage Banking (approx 45 minutes)
For those with little to no mortgage background, this class will familiarize you with some terminology and other mortgage lending basics!
Intro To Streamline 203(k) (approx. 30 minutes)
Course gives overview of new Streamline 203(k) program from FHA.
MEME Made Easy(approx. 1 hour)
Once you have mastered registering a loan and uploading/submitting a 1003, you're ready for some advanced skills. This class will demonstrate running
AU, setting defaults, linkouts and MEME enhancements. Learn the most common problems brokers experience in MEME and how you can avoid them.
Mastering Calyx (approx. 2 hours)
This class will cover setting up Master Files to enter loans quicker…getting your loans registered correctly...working with Reports to market to Prospects
increasing your potential application volume...staying on top of things using Tasks....doing Loan Comparisons to help your borrowers make informed
Non Traditional Credit Guidelines (approx.1 hr 30 minutes)
This class will cover what is required for a non traditional credit report for a conventional loans as well as for an FHA loan. You will learn all of the
requirements for an acceptable reference for credit and how many references are needed.
Processing 203(k)s (approx. 45 minutes)
Gives a general overview of the program for inside staff. Explains the documentation requirements for 203(k) loans, submission procedures and closing
Premium Conforming (approx. 45 minutes)
Gives a general overview of this new program. Explains the programs parameters, pricing advantages of this product.
State Specific Requirements ( approx. 1 hr 30 minutes)
Learn about the lending requirements in various states including identifying additional documents necessary; determining Tangible Net Benefits; learn how to
determine if a loan falls into a state’s nonprime or subprime definition and what additional steps need to be taken if the loan is identified as
nonprime/subprime; determine the correct fees to be collected. This class only affect brokers doing business in NY, ME, CT and NC.
Underwriting in a Changing World - (Approx. 1 ½ hrs / Target Audience: Sales)
Learn how to interpret AU findings…why use Fannie Mae DU…why use FHLMC LP...what loans require AU…and more.
Self Employed - (Approx. 1 ½ hrs / Target Audience: Sales)
Learn how to calculate income from Schedule C, Partnership and Corporate tax returns.
