					                Scottish Youth Work Week Conference
                           Thursday 8 November 2012
                         Easter Road Stadium, Edinburgh

              INTERACTIVE SESSION PROPOSAL
We are keen to see a variety of opportunities for conference participants to share
practice, develop skills and learn how policy can be taken into practice and
management. During the sessions, normally set aside for workshops, we are hoping
to run in the region of eight sessions on the day which will include workshops, mini-
seminars, lectures and presentations.

 WORKSHOP – an opportunity to give a short input on practice area followed
by opportunity for participants to engage in learning activities about the
       practice area.

 MINI-SEMINAR – an opportunity to present an area of work in some detail
       followed by the opportunity for
 group discussion or question and answer session.

 PRESENTATION – an opportunity to present an area of work with limited
       discussion time.

 LECTURE – an opportunity for participants to learn or gain knowledge with no
       discussion time.
