Approaches to Development:
On the Cusp of a New Grand Theory or Still Too Distributed?
Post Doc and Graduate Student Travel Funds Award Application
In order to encourage participation by post docs and graduate students, the
sponsors of the Connectionism/Dynamic Systems Conference will fund 20
travel awards of $300 each for qualified applicants. These funds can be used
to cover travel costs and/or hotel costs up to the award amount.
Application Deadline
Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis starting on March 28, 2005.
Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on June 1, 2005 to qualify for an
award.
The application forms may be filled out on-line, printed out, and mailed to:

Eligibility
1. The applicant must be a post doc or graduate student at the time of
application as well as the time when they collect the award (i.e., June
2005).
2. The applicant must agree to present a poster at the conference.
3. The applicant must include a poster abstract (no more than 500
words) along with the application for the travel funds.
4. The applicant must agree to share lodging with another post doc or
graduate student attending the conference or cover the additional
costs incurred by reserving a single hotel room.
