We are at the north end of campus behind the

          The library is split onto two floors.

• Present one of the following.
   – Current Student ID Card
   – Valid Texas Driver License
   – Fee Receipt for Current
   – Texas ID
   – TexShare Card

• Check out a total of 10 items
  at any one given time.

• Books check out for three
  weeks, with one renewal, an
  additional three weeks, if there
  are no “holds” or current
  overdue items.
     Textbook Reserve and Telecourse

Circulation also has textbook reserves, copies of course textbooks, made
available for library use only, that instructors have on reserve for students.
Telecourse Videos, the video equivalent of textbooks for online and distance
learning courses, also are available for checkout as well.
Copy/Printing Services
             • Set up a Printing/copy
             account at a Printing/copy
             kiosk, located on Circulation
             and Reference Levels
             • All you need is your Student
             ID# and at least a one dollar
             bill to set up your account.
             • Prints/copies are 10 cents
             per page, deducted from your
             account funds. The initial $1=
             10 pages.
             • Funds may be added at any
             time in one and five dollar
    Student Reading Lounge

Our open seating area has large comfortable
 couches and is ideal for casual reading or
 browsing many of our popular collections.
         Periodical Collections

The library subscribes to many different newspapers such as
the Dallas Morning News, Wall Street Journal, and New York
Magazines include GQ, People, Time, Texas Monthly, Hot Rod,
Sports Illustrated, Newsweek, InStyle , Ebony and more.
Other Popular and Special
Collections are Available
   Our Plotkin Holocaust Collection,
      DVD video collection and
McNaughton bestsellers are very popular
Ideal study spaces are located
    throughout the library.
Individual study carrels, enclosed study
 rooms and group tables are available.

What’s upstairs in Reference?
 Reference houses our Non-circulating
Collection and our Library Computer Lab
The Reference Collection contains an excellent array of
research resources and materials for in-library use only.
Included are current issues collections, medical reference,
music and art encyclopedias, historical atlases, literature
criticism, grant and scholarship resources, and more!

members are available to assist students during all hours of

     Research Handouts Available

The Library Quickstarts research guides provide
recommended sources of books, journal articles and websites.
MLA/APA Citation and Noodlebib Handouts also are
          Library Computer Lab

Located on the Reference Level, our Library Computer Lab
provides access to our Library Catalog for books and online
databases for journal articles, as well as the Internet.
Our computers also have a host of office suite software to
create documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
               Writer’s Corner
      Group study space on the third floor
The Corner features one-on-one writing assistance
  for students as well as tables for group study.

Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
Friday, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Sept. 4–6: Closed for Labor Day weekend
Nov. 24: Library open 8 am – 8 pm
Nov. 25–29: Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday
Dec. 9: Library open 8am – 7 pm
