This particular robot is intended to allow students to draw geometric figures. The robot consists
of two drive wheels that can be controlled independently, a pen holder, and a skid plate. These
components are assembled to make a robot that is sturdy enough for use in a classroom while
also giving accurate results. The location of the pen is important because it allows the robot to
make a sharp corner when drawing shapes such as squares or triangles. However, because the
robot turns by running the drive motors in opposite directions, one needs to determine how long
to run the motors in order to obtain the desired angle. Overall this is a complex robot which is
very good at drawing a wide variety of geometric shapes.
