Report of Artwork Sale & Royalty
When to Use This Form. This form may be used when the seller of an artwork incurs the obligation to pay a
royalty to the artist, but the artist or heirs cannot be found. In such cases, the California Arts Council, a
state agency, is to be notified of the sale and is to receive the royalty per the California Resale Royalty Act.
