Community Foundation, Inc. I acknowledge that this recommendation does not represent the payment of any pledge or other
financial obligation, nor do I expect any personal benefit from this charitable distribution such as benefit tickets, memberships,
participation in golf tournaments or other events or activities. I further acknowledge that grant requests cannot be made to
individuals, which includes grants made to an organization for the benefit of an individual (ex. Grant to a school). I understand
that the final decision to approve or decline this recommendation rests with the Board of Directors of the Fairfield County
Community Foundation, whose duty it is to see that all distributions are consistent with the Foundation’s purposes and comply
with IRS regulations and the Pension Protection Act of 2006. In accordance with fulfilling its legal obligations, the Foundation
may directly verify pertinent information with proposed grantees, and on any proposed grant other than for the general support
of a 501(c)(3) organization, will almost certainly do so.

The Foundation is committed to tackling those needs and making the county a better place for the children of tomorrow. We
bring together policy makers, nonprofit and community leaders, donors, private funders and other experts to work together
to close the achievement gap in our public schools, increase affordable housing, help immigrants succeed, and improve the
long-term economic security of low-income working women.
