1)   Log into PeopleSoft through the BYUH web site by clicking on “my| byuh.”**




2) Fill in your CES Net ID and Password. **
3) To retrieve your paycheck information, click on the PeopleSoft Human Resources link. **
You will see your individual PeopleSoft Menu




   4) Click on Select Self Service
You will then view the many self-service options available you in PeopleSoft.


                                         5) Click on Payroll and Compensation **

                                                SELECT:
                                              View Paycheck
                                       Review current and prior paychecks.

                                            Direct Deposit
                               Add or update your direct deposit information.

                                         W-4 Tax Information
                                   Review or change your W-4 information.


Using Internet Explorer, To make the Paycheck View print on one page:
-Minimize the Peoplesoft Menu frame on the left side(click on the box with the -) -Click anywhere in the middle of the
page(this is to activate the frame on the right) -Click on the File Menu, select Print Preview -Click on the Page Setup icon
and change the Top and Bottom margins to .5 -Click on the icon to turn off headers and footers (or press Alt+E) -Change
"As laid out on screen" to "Only the selected frame"
-Change "Shrink To Fit" to "80%"
-Click on the Print Icon
Account Type        Select the applicable value to indicate a direct deposit to a checking or savings account, or if the
                    system will issue a check: Checking, Savings, and Issue Check.
Deposit Type        Select Amount if the employee wants a fixed dollar amount to be deposited in this account.
                    Select Balance if the balance of an employee's pay is to be deposited in this account.
                    Select Percent if the employee wants a specific percentage of his net pay to be deposited in this
                    account.
%Net Pay/$          Enter a specific dollar amount if you selected Amount in the Deposit Type field. Enter a percent if

Bank ID             Enter the bank ID, which must be nine digits for the U.S.
Account # (account Enter the employee’s account number. The account number represents the employee’s checking or

Priority            Enter a priority number for this distribution. During direct deposit processing, distributions are made
                    to accounts in order of their priority number―the lower the priority number, the higher the priority.
                    Priority becomes important when an employee’s net pay isn’t enough to cover all direct deposits―in
                    this case, only the higher priority deposits is made.


Click save to process you request. The effective day established in the pay period ending date will be
