                       Max’s Racing Driver



      My racing driver’s favourite car is a Lamborgini and his
favourite colours are red and orange. He thinks that the
best track is in America. He got into racing because
Vodaphone sponsored him. They’re a big company and they
like to sponsor Formula 1 because most people who work in
that company like Formula 1. They pay for the shielding of
Lewis Hamilton’s car and get to paint it with red paint.
Max’s racing driver thinks that it looks brilliant. His name is
Simon Frater and he is 30 years old.

      His training of Formula 1 is like the space training and
they use the centrifugal chamber in Florida to feel the
speed of Formula 1 at top speed – over 300mph. They also
have to run a mile in 11 minutes to be fit for the Formula 1.
They have to learn how to behave when they’re last and not
pull off the steering wheel and throw it on to the ground.
The steering wheels come off so that the drivers can get
out of the car.
