                      Commissioned Minister of Religion Delegates
                            to the 2013 LCMS Convention
The 65th Regular Convention of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod will be held in St. Louis, Missouri,
July 20-25, 2013. According to Synodical bylaws each district may elect one Advisory Delegate to the
convention for every sixty (60) Commissioned Ministers of Religion (CMR’s) Rostered in that district.
Accordingly, we must elect six (6) CMR’s to represent the Florida-Georgia District.

Responsibilities of Advisory Delegates to the Convention include:

       Advisory delegates shall have voice but no vote and shall be entitled to the floor to express their
        opinion the same as voting delegates. (Bylaw 3.1.5)
       Advisory delegates shall be eligible for membership on committees and for offices of the
        convention unless otherwise specified. (Bylaw 3.1.5.1)
       All duly elected advisory delegates shall attend all sessions regularly until the close of the
        convention. Delegates who arrive late or leave early or who do not attend at all shall present a
        written excuse. (Bylaw 3.1.5.2)

Transportation, food and lodging expenses are the responsibility of the Florida-Georgia District.
