 Compared to other districts, the scale of the disaster was medium (in the range of very high, high, medium, GHOTKI

                                                                                                                                                    Khangarh Taluka
authorities. PDMA figures 23 UCs affected in the district. Mirpur Mathelo Taluka
 Most clusters did not prioritize this district regarding their various emergency activities leaving many in the
          affected UCs unassisted.
 Government sources indicate all IDPs have returned back leaving no more camps and/or tent cities in the
district. Returnees need to receive assistance in their villages of return. CCCM cluster sources indicate more Sukkur
than 100 IDP camps in October 2010. !!

 Although there is a need to accelerate the early recovery and rehabilitation phase, there are still hot spots
for protracted emergency that will still require humanitarian assistance. Need for winterization is high Sukkur
during the peak of winter season.
 Authorities request for more early recovery and rehabilitation assistance in the district plus increased need
for the role of Community Restoration and Agriculture Clusters as people have returned to villages where
basic community assets and services have been destroyed.
 9500 Watan Card issued and approximately 2500 cards are still have issues which district government and
NADRA is planning to sort out.
Key Humanitarian Challenges:

 EDO education identified 40 school building which are completely destroyed and need rehabilitation
 Assistance from Agriculture and CoRe is required more than other clusters
 Need to support sectoral working groups in the district by cluster leads.
