QUEBEC REGION INVITATION TO A JOINT LEARNING PROGRAM WORKSHOP To give you the chance to learn more about the Joint Learning Program (JLP) and to provide an opportunity for tangible participation, the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) is working with the Quebec Federal Managers’ Network to offer four JLP workshops on understanding the collective agreement. The workshops will be held in the Montreal, Quebec City, Rimouski and Jonquière areas. The workshop will enable you to enhance your understanding of the collective agreement and its content and interpretation. Participants will discover that a simple, four-part approach has been applied to understanding the collective agreement. The process emphasizes participation and fosters dialogue and comprehension as key components of the solution to workplace problems. Do you want to improve labour relations and better understand the roles of the union and management in your workplace? Do you want access to free training during work hours in or near your workplace? If you answered yes to the above questions, the JLP is for you! These workshops are offered to PSAC members from federal departments in the Quebec Region whose employer is the Treasury Board of Canada, and to their managers, who would like to experience a JLP workshop and subsequently promote such training in their workplaces. We offer other types of workshops, as well, including Anti-Harassment, Employment Equity, Respecting Differences and Anti-Discrimination, and UnionManagement Consultation.
In 2010, other promotional workshops may be offered in English in Montreal.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and the Quebec Federal Managers’ Network invite you to attend a Joint Learning Program (JLP) workshop on understanding the collective agreement. If any of the workshops below interests you, please read the registration procedure. To register:

Form a duo: PSAC member and manager. Before registering on-line, check the registration deadline. Take note of the number of the workshop you would like to attend. Click on www.jlp-pam.ca, then on the Participant Registration link Enter the workshop number and provide your contact information. Please note that participants’ travel costs are not covered by the JLP.
The JLP accepts only 20 registrations for each workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation e-mail five days before the workshop begins. Please notify the organizers if you are unable to attend the workshop after registering or receiving your confirmation.
