                                  SPRING NIGHT COMPETITION 2012

Competition Information
The Night Competition is a senior competition for open to men’s, women’s and mixed teams.
Players must turn 15 years in the year of play (ending 31st Dec 2012). Proof of age must be
provided, if requested. Players not complying by these rules will be deregistered.

The competition will start on the week commencing 10th September 2012, and will be played
on a Tuesday night, with additional nights (Monday and / or Wednesday) if the number of
teams registered makes this necessary. No guarantee can be made on which night teams will
be allocated if the competition needs to be extended beyond Tuesday to Monday and / or
Wednesday and NO REFUNDS will be given if the night allocated is not suitable.

Registration
Registration will be taken via email: dilldog11@hotmail.com (please copy
hdna@bigpond.net.au) up to 5.00pm Sunday 12th August 2012. An e-mail confirming
receipt of your registration will be sent to you, if you have not received a receipt by noon on
Monday 13th August please contact the HDNA Night Comp Convenor Rachel Bridger on
0405 320400 to check whether your registration has been received.

Registration night will still be held for those clubs not e-mailing their forms through. If
attending registration night forms are to be completed in triplicate and handed in at the
Pennant Hills Complex on Tuesday 14 August 2011 between 7.00pm-8.00pm.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU COMPLETE ALL FIELDS ON THE REGISTRATION FORM
(FOR GRADING AND ADMINISTRATION PURPOSES). FORMS NOT FULLY
COMPLETED WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

A minimum of seven (7) players per team must be registered. Registrations are limited to
twelve (12) players (no reserves) per team.

Registration Fee - $250.00 per team. There is an additional fee of $64.00 per player for
those players not registered for any 2012 NSW Netball Competition. Insurance coverage is
from 1st January 2012 to 31st December 2012, and therefore covers players for all Netball
NSW competitions throughout 2012.

If you are registering by e-mail be make sure your fees have been sent by Sunday 12th August
2012. Payment can be paid via;

Club cheque – made out to HDNA and mailed to PO Box 1017, Pennant Hills 1715 or,
Direct Deposit – CBA, BSB: 062113, A/C No. 00800126. Please put your Team name in the
description field AND please send an e-mail to dilldog11@hotmail.com copying
hdna@bigpond.net.au when your payment has been made.

If you attend registration night then payment can be made by club cheque on the night.

Registrations will not be accepted until fees are received.
Late Registration (Fixtures, Umpires and General Admin) Night will take place on
Tuesday 4th September 2012 at the Pennant Hills complex between 7 pm and 8pm. All clubs
MUST send a representative to cover any late registrations, all umpiring details and to collect
fixtures books for each of their team managers.

Receipts for any payments (team rego and insurance) you have made will be issued at this
time.

If your club does not have a central night comp co-ordinator then the team manager must
attend.

This will be the only time for late registration of players before the start of the
competition. No emailed late registrations will be accepted before the first round of
competition is complete. Late registrations after Tuesday 11th September can be sent directly
to dilldog11@hotmail.com please copy hdna@bigpond.net.au, please see the fixture book for
more details.

Umpires
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL TEAMS REGISTERING FOR THIS COMPETITION
MUST SUPPLY AN UMPIRE BY LATE REGISTRATION.
(Please complete the Umpire form and bring it to late registration)

In very exceptional circumstances HDNA will be able to provide some assistance to help
you find an umpire, but teams should not rely on this as an option for securing an umpire. To
ensure as many teams as possible have a suitable umpires HDNA may re-allocate your
umpire to another team, however if they do this then you will be provided with an alternative
and suitably qualified umpire.

Each team / club is responsible for liaising with their allocated umpire, including the
payment of fees and ensuring an alternative umpire is available if your umpire is unable to
attend. A final list of team umpires will be issued to all team/clubs prior to or during the first
week of competition.

YOUR UMPIRE MUST NOT PLAY IN THE SAME DIVISION AS YOUR TEAM.

Fixture Books will be available at Late Registration Night (and will be published on the
HNDA website (Spring 2012 Night Comp)). Sufficient copies of the fixtures book will be
available at this time to ensure each team manager has access to their own copy of the
Fixtures Book.

Managers please ensure you have a copy of the fixtures book so you are aware of any duty
requirements and additional information in relation to the competition.
