Fleet Sales Director – Vauxhall Motors Limited

Joined Vauxhall Motors in 1963 in the Export Sales Department and
moved through various positions within that division before transferring
to the Truck division with the responsibility for distribution, sales
systems and forecasting.

Transferred back to Vauxhall Motors in 1987 and appointed Van
Marketing Manager.

In 1989, transferred to the retail sales division and was responsible for
sales operations working closely with the dealer network.

In 1991, became Manager Scheduling, Distribution and Systems
responsible for all cars and vans distribution, scheduling and forecasting
for the company.

In 1992, transferred to the Fleet Sales division to become Regional
Fleet Sales Manager, responsible for all vehicle sales to the 25+
segment of the fleet market.

In 1994, became Fleet Operations Manager responsible for all fleet
marketing, advertising, demonstration programme, shows, events and
hospitality for the Fleet Sales department. And in 1996 had the
additional responsibility for sales to the Corporate “Blue Chip” Company

In 1999, became Fleet Sales Director responsible for all sales (cars and
vans) to the Fleet segment including demonstration programme, public
sector, marketing, budgets and inventory. In 2001, had the additional
responsibility for company cars, re-marketing and van fleet sales.

Maurice is married with one son. His hobbies are golf, golf and golf!!
(although off a high handicap!) He also enjoys football (favourite teams
are Manchester United closely followed by Luton Town FC), cricket and
playing squash.
