BORN TO BELIEVE,
DETERMINED TO ACHIEVE
First and foremost in my life, I am the loving mother of four
great kids. My oldest daughter is 17 and she was born with a mixture
of skin psoriasis and eczema. It was mostly on her hands, which
would split, peel and bleed. The pain was horrible. It was agonizing
to see her in such pain, not only in her hands but in her heart as the
kids teased her growing up. She would always try to hide her hands
from everyone’s view. Not only was she born with this debilitating
disease but later we discovered she also had a condition in which
her skin did not naturally exfoliate by itself. Doctors tried everything
they could think of to help her. We used every available lotion and
medicated cream money could buy. Sometimes the cure was worse
than the disease, producing side–effects such as causing the skin on

life we were not financially secure and we had no health insurance,
so we could not afford to keep the treatments up. We now know that
it was a blessing in disguise because that kind of drastic treatment not think that this Presentation could offer me anything new. I did not
