Position: Sr. Oracle Programmer/Analyst

As a key member of the Oracle Developer's team, I was involved in the design, development,
testing and implementation of a wholesale billing system that supports a customer base of over
100 companies. It provides telecom products & services such as private line circuits, calling
cards, VNET, Toll free, Carrier Operator Services etc.

My primary responsibilities on this project were as follows:

   Technical analysis of FTS project modules and the JV (journal voucher) interface for
    automation of the upload process from the Oracle application to the mainframe CARMS
    system
   Writing packages & stored procedures using PL/SQL, for data validations and for
    calculation of rates and discounts as per the pricing plans set up in the customer's contract
   Writing SQL*Loader and Perl scripts for data insert
   Creating database tables, indexes, views, synonyms, user roles using SQL*Plus scripts
   Performance tuning of application and SQL queries by analyzing the explain plain using
    SQL*Navigator tool
   Creation and modification of front-end GUI screens using Forms 4.5/6i to set up contracts,
    pricing plans, commitment ramp, tariff discounts, penalty plans
   Creation & modification of reports using Reports 2.5/6i, example: the FTS exception report
    which is used to print details about missing circuits & data mismatch for the various products
    billed for the FTS customer
   Providing technical support to the production team by trouble-shooting & fixing errors/bugs
