• NPB system includes the use of Natural Power Balanced
cultures (Liquid & solid) Mixed Microbial Culture; a
useful combination of co-existing beneficial dominated
microbes cultured in a liquid medium developed in India,
from natural resources by a group of Scientists.
• This is the system to minimize use of hazardous chemicals
to utilize the positive micro-organisms to improve the
quality & animal health. This is not a chemical, so it should
not be treated as such. It is a living substance, & does not
contain any genetically engineered micro-organism. This
is a mixture of such microbial innoculums, which are found
in all ecosystems throughout the world.

      TECHNOLOGY
                 NPB Application & Benifits NPB
1. Due to dropping of litter in the farms regularly & decay of the
litter & food wastes and creation of excess ammonia gas in the
poultry shed are causing the birds to be susceptible to diseases. In
poultry Ammonia percentage could be reduced significantly
somewhere from > 30 ppm to less than 4 ppm within a week

2. .Broiler weights could increase up to 200 to 250 gm per bird in 5
weeks i.e. it helps them to grow early by approx.10 to 15 %.

3. NPB technology also decreases mortality rate .

4. Regular use of NPB technology with Rani Khate & Gumboro in
broiler increases antibodies more than three times. & improves
   immunity.
The beneficial points of NPB NPB
5. NPB cultures are anti-oxidants, anti-bacterial & anti-fungal
   in nature.
6. Better environment for breathing improves broiler’s health
and meat quality. (In Lucknow, due to the use of NPB,
expenditure to check diseases in a flock of 10 thousand
broilers decreased from 100% to 26%.& reducing harmful
   pathogens growth.
7. Improves digestive system & micro flora of the intestines
combatting effectively with e-coli in the intestines of
   birds.
8 . Increases the protein level in eggs .
9.Converts the poultry bed in a very good, high in nutrition
   manure.
The beneficial points of NPB NPB

10. Suppresses foul odor in livestock sheds and
  waste treatment.
11. Reduces the stress factor of animals
e.g. decreases flies, ticks and other harmful insect
12. Enhances animal health by improving immunity
  against diseases.
13. Increases the quality of animal products and
  enhances shelf life.
14. Improves fecundity rate.
15. Getting high quality manure.
16. Lowers the requirements of regular medicines,
  antibiotics and disinfectants.

                                  AERIAL AMMONIA TESTING
Passive dosimeter tubes offer a less expensive alternative for ammonia level determination at
about $4 per tube with no sampler pump necessary. Both ends of the glass tube are brokenoff, and
the tube is then exposed to the environmentfor a 1- to 10-hr duration to determine the average
ammonia level during that time.Through diffusion, the reactive fill materialchanges color within the
clear glass tube. Calibrationmarks printed on the tube indicate ppm× hour so that average
ammonia concentratiois determined by dividing by the sampling time.

                                 SAMPLE COLLECTION METHOD
Samples were equally divided between surface samples (top 25 mm) and core samples. Samples
were frozen until analysis but received no further processing. Samples were analyzed for ammonia
by autoanalyzer (standard) and several quick tests (conductivity, Quantofix N-Volumeter, and
Reflectoquant). In addition, samples were analyzed by near-infrared spectroscopy by scanning
samples using a large-sample transport device on a FOSS-NIRSystems model 6500 (64 co-added
scans from 400 to 2,498 nm). Results showed that, although ammonia could be determined with
reasonable accuracy by near-infrared spectroscopy using data in the 1,100 to 2,498 nm spectral
range (final calibration R2 of approximately 0.90), none of the quick tests, including near-infrared..
The best results were found using the Quantofix or Reflectoquant (R2 of approximately 0.75), and
conductivity worked only with the core samples (R2 of approximately 0.75). It is believed that
interferences due to the presence of uric acid (spectroscopy, Quantofix, and Reflectoquant) and
sodium bisulfate used to treat the litter (conductivity) could be the cause of the decreased
                                               accuracies.

      NATURAL BALANCING OF pH
Trials at Village Limbad & Sami in Gujrat
•TECHNOLOGY DEMONSTRATION WAS DONE TO SHOW THE SOIL TREATMENT
THROUGH NPB TECHNOLOGY AT ONE ALKALINE & ONE ACIDIC LAND

•THE SOIL SAMPLES BEFORE & AFTER TREATMENT WERE SENT TO
             GUJRAT LABORATORIES FOR TESTING

                •ANALYTICAL REPORT SHOWS ‘
                     NPB TECHNOLOGY CAN
  1) NOT ONLY BALANCE THE pH OF BOTH ALKALINE AS WELL AS
                          ACIDIC LAND
2) BUT ALSO ENHANCE THE FASTER AVAILABILITY OF N,P,K, IN SOIL
IN 3 WEEKS TIME, WHICH IS NOT ACHIEVABLE BY ANY OTHER
          TECHNOLOGY WITH AFFARDABLE ECONOMICS
