Job Title: MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Business: Taylor Wimpey Midlands
Location: Warwick
Reports to: Sales & Marketing Director
Direct Reports: None

Objective
Taylor Wimpey Midlands develops an extensive range of new homes throughout the Midlands
region ranging from bespoke apartment schemes to large detached homes. We are an
enthusiastic team committed to the growth of our business, who works hard to ensure success and
take time to celebrate it too!
The role of the marketing executive is to provide marketing support to the regional sales and
marketing team; manage the effective delivery of marketing services in line with central marketing
strategy; and co-ordinate marketing agencies activity at a regional level.

Key Activities
Responsibility for Regional Advertising
Create and update sales information on Taylor Wimpey web and other digital media.
Manage regional ppc and maximise geographic search engine optimisation.
Advise media buyer and advertising agencies of requirements (in conjunction with Sales
Director)
Manage process through to appearance of advertisement
Provide advice and creative support to the regional sales team on copy style, proposition and
positioning.
Site Marketing
Develop marketing plans and implement activity in line with the business needs
Liaise with marketing agencies for production of all marketing material
Provide site by site analysis of marketing effectiveness.
Identify opportunities to maximise positive brand exposure in locality of development
Budget Control
Drive effective use of regional selling expenses budget for advertising and pr.
Maintain site marketing expenditure records
Drive cost efficiency through best use of processes and briefing procedures developed, to
reduce re-work and abortive costs
Brochure Production
Briefing of brochure requirements in accordance with the business needs
Manage sources of material and single contact for external agencies.
Manage approval process.
Manage brochure expenditure
Responsibility for Regional Public Relations
Advise pr company of requirements (in conjunction with Sales Director)
Provide briefs and editorial approval of the public relations company, in accordance with the
regions marketing plan.
Sales & Marketing Support
Work with central marketing team to deliver national initiatives at a regional level
Provide organisation and administrative support for sales promotions, including site
launches, Regional exhibitions and presentations
Site set up
Manage the process of new outlet opening in conjunction with the Sales Manager and Sales
and Marketing Director
Create master site file encompassing show area and sales office set up plans, including
sales office furniture and services layouts, signage and flagpole layouts, landscaping
layouts, show area options orders and provide information to production team as and when
required
To ensure that all sales and marketing sub contractors are provided with mini folder 1, and
provide adequate health and safety method statements prior to commencement of any
works on site.
To manage the telephone/IT set up process for all new developments plus ongoing
management of any technical issues.
Knowledge Required
Relevant experience in similar marketing role would be useful.
Qualifications
Educated to min 3 A levels but preferably relevant degree level.
Technical Competencies
Strategic, analytical and creative thinker.
Good interpersonal/motivational skills, enthusiastic team player.
Good level of IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and its applications
Knowledge of web management preferred
Knowledge of Property Misdescriptions Act, Consumer Code and CSCS visitors level test. (can
be undertaken at commencement of role)
Other
It will be necessary for the Marketing Executive to hold a driving licence.
