Multimedia is the use of computers to integrate text, graphics, video, animation, and sound into a presentation. In this
project-based course, students will incorporate advanced Internet search techniques, the research process, and personal
creativity to develop a visual presentation. Students will edit both digital and still images to produce a final product. These
skills will assist students entering business and computer/technology careers, and are desirable for the college-bound
student as well.
Prerequisite: Integrated Computer Applications, Computer Technology, or teacher approval.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will demonstrate proficiency in
    Academic standards of reading, writing, and mathematics;
    Occupational standards of communication, organization, technology, thinking skills, work qualifications; and
    Content standards specific to this course as detailed in the pacing guide below.
