                                        Design Awards




The Kidsafe 2012 National Playspace Design Awards will recognise
excellence and innovation in the provision of safe, creative playspaces
Australia wide.

The Awards are open to service providers, design professionals, students, landscape
contractors and playground providers in all sectors. This is a great opportunity to
showcase current playspace design and development achievements in children’s
services, schools and public playspaces. The Awards aim to promote inspirational
and innovative best practice play facilities and encourage healthy participation in
recreational activities for all children.

Entries must reflect playspaces that:
    Have been installed/constructed since September 2010;
    Are currently open for use;
    Have not been submitted for previous Kidsafe National Playspace Design
        Awards.

Categories for the Kidsafe 2012 National Playsapce Design Awards are as
follows:
     Children’s Services (including Family Day Care)
     Schools
     Public Playspaces
          o Up to $500 000
          o $500 000—$1 000 000
          o $1 000 000 upwards

      Innovative Design Elements
       Eg sound items, shade, sandpit covers etc.

Closing date for submission of Entries: 5pm AEST Friday 31 August 2012
