Design a building which responds positively to the sensitivity of the site by ICUlV7NM

									Our Aims are to…

 Improve the visual and physical relationships between the church and church hall through the location of windows
to the main hall and path links between the two.

 Design a building which responds positively to the sensitivity of the site, be it the church, the graves, existing trees,
    or the wider urban fabric.

 Create a contemporary facility that can serve the congregation and reach out to the wider community in many
more, and better, ways than the building it seeks to replace. The revisions to the main hall and foyer layout
explained below should assist with this in particular.

 Maintain some “memory” of the old hall through the scale, location, materials and details used in the new building.

 Scope for a future phase 2 to be constructed with minimised physical and operational disruption to phase 1.
