sugarSNAP Puts Chaos on Timeout
Smart, stylish new products designed by moms for moms promise
to make life a little more organized so it can be a lot more fun.
February 15, 2012 --- (San Carlos, CA) Few things inspire a need for organization like the appearance of two newborns
in your home. sugarSNAP’s arrival was born out of two mothers of twins’ desire to create thoughtful, beautiful products
to help organize life with babies and small children.
sugarSNAP products are solutions that offer parents stylish new ways to organize their gear; their products are
revolutionary ways to help parents’ lives be more organized.
sugarSNAP was founded by Tarah Smith Evans and Stacy Cooper Dent, mothers of twins born weeks apart, designers
and entrepreneurs. These new moms discovered parenthood was joyous and overwhelming. Both organized women
who liked to stay ahead of the chaos, they found a lack of solutions to organize baby supplies like the products and
tools they had utilized in their professional careers, offices and homes. After two years of design and refinement,
sugarSNAP’s first products are now available.
The sugarSNAP Files is a patent-pending new diaper bag organization system. It is a series of five lightweight, smaller
bags (or Files) that fit inside of existing bags, totes and purses. Each file has an easy-to-identify tab and the set stays
organized by snapping together with a hook and ring system.
72% of mothers are unhappy with their diaper bag’s organization and almost half say they cannot find what they need
quickly. The sugarSNAP Files were inspired by these challenges. The Summer 2012 Collection features two colorways:
a traditional black-and-white series, and an on-trend green and orange series. Additional patterns will be available for
The sugarSNAP Car-Go is an organizer that stores child and baby essentials in the car trunk in a thoughtful new way. It
is a perfectly-sized compact bin that leaves ample space for strollers, shopping bags and more. It includes six
sugarSNAP File bags to keep items organized and accessible. It also includes outside mesh pockets for frequently-used
items like wipes and sunscreen.
For many busy families, the car is home base. Well-prepared parents carry everything from extra diapers and clothes to
snacks and toys in their trunks. The Car-Go eliminates trunk clutter with a system to organize extra supplies. The
Summer 2012 Collection is also available in two colors and ships March 2012. Additional patterns are planned for
sugarSNAP is also developing two additional product lines targeted to help tame the chaos of toys and travel.
sugarSNAP was founded by Tarah Smith Evans and Stacy Cooper Dent in August 2009 after a particularly challenging
day at a local park. One of the four babies was crying, and both dove into their black-hole diaper bags to find the
pacifier, teething ring, you-name-it missing item and they knew there had to be a better way. Evans and Dent currently
live in San Carlos, California with their husbands and four-year-old twins: Jackson, Parker, Andrew and Wyatt.
