For this production some roles will be double cast to allow more children to participate. Audition Dates and Schedule Cinderella Adult and Children Needed Monday, Tuesday, October 5-6, 6:00 pm—9:00 pm Monday, Oct. 5, 6—9:00 pm—Teens and Adults, 12 and up Tuesday, Oct. 6, 6—9:00 pm—Children, ages 6—11 For Auditions To register, you need to submit auditioner’s name, age, parent name, telephone number and email address to LEbright@ci.pleasanton.ca.us. We will contact you to confirm your audition date. Audition packets will be available online after Sept. 15 at www.pleasantoncivicarts.org, or at Parks and Community Services, 200 Old Bernal Modular, from 8:00 am—5:00 pm. Bring to the audition a completed audition form and a recent photo of yourself. Actors aged 6-11 will be asked to do some improvisational work, sing, dance and have fun. Come dressed for movement, in shoes you can dance in. Actors aged 12 and up should prepare 32 bars of a song in your key. Bring sheet music or a CD to accompany yourself. Dress to move. Callbacks Auditions at the Amador Theater 1155 Santa Rita Road, Pleasanton In case we need to see more, auditioners should be available: Weds., Oct. 7, 6—7:30 (singing), 7:30-9 (dancing) Thurs., Oct. 8 6-9:00 pm (acting) If cast in Cinderella, all members under the age of 18 yrs will be required to pay a registration fee of $175. This fee will cover tuition, script, rehearsal CD, basic costume and other production elements that help create a valuable educational experience. Performances at Amador Theater READ FIRST This production is part of the City of Pleasanton, Civic Arts Presents program, in partnership with The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. Before you complete your audition form note that you must be available for performances at 9:30 and 11:00 am on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, December 16 – 18, 2009. There are NO EXCEPTIONS! Other performance dates are listed on the attached calendar. If you are still reading, you have passed the first hurdle. Please complete the following steps to audition. 1. On the audition day, turn in your completed Audition Form, Calendar sheet with any conflicts, Volunteer Form, and a recent photo of yourself. Please keep your Casting Agreement and Photo Release to turn in if you are cast. 2. Wear your nametag in a visible area that all production personnel can see. 3. On the attached calendar, “X” out any days or nights that you cannot make a rehearsal or performance. Rehearsals are scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, beginning October 20, 2009. Any special circumstances should be noted on the calendar. 4. Fill out the volunteer form if you would like to be involved in the production even if not cast in a role. You also can share the form with family and friends who would like to become involved in the theater experience. 5. Please no food, gum or beverages allowed in the Theater. Smoking is prohibited in the building. Maintain my current grade point average and hereby state that I am not presently on academic probation. 2. Attend all rehearsals and performances. 3. I will help promote the play by participating in activities such as inviting friends and family, making public appearances and being available for local press interviews. Also, in consideration of the of the producers of this production allowing me to participate in this production, I hereby waive, release, and discharge, and assume the risk for any and all claims for damages for death, personal injury or property damage which I, my heirs, executors, administrators, or assigns, as a result of my participation in this production. This release is intended to discharge in advance the City of Pleasanton, its council, officials, employees, commissioners, or its agents, sponsors promoters of this class/event, from and against any and all liability arising out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons and entities mentioned above.
