         POSITION TITLE:                    Office Manager
         REPORTS TO:                        Assistant Manager I
         STATUS:                            Exempt
         WORK SCHEDULE:                     Full Time
         SALARY RANGE:                      $15.00 - $22.00/HR

         JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the Assistant Manager I,
         responsible for staffing the business office of the Agency, supporting the
         management and providing liaison with the community, monitoring that all reports
         are filed on a timely basis, and preparing internal reports for Agency use.
         Position also includes monitoring and enforcing adherence of fiscal/personnel
         policies and procedures.

         ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
         1.  Answer telephones and intercoms, take messages, respond to inquiries,
             give directions to the Agency.
         2.  Provide comprehensive secretarial and clerical support to Agency staff.
         3.  Handle daily staff scheduling.
         4.  Substitute for Community Service Worker (CSW) as needed.
         5.  Assist in opening and/or closing of the facility at the beginning and/or
             ending of each day as needed.
         6.  Organize, publicize, and register staff for workshops, staff development.
         7.  Other tasks as requested.

         EDUCATION:
         1.  High school diploma or GED (minimum).
         2.  Minimum 2 years in office environment.


         KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
         1.  KNOWLEDGE OF:
             a.  General office procedures including the operation of business
                 machines and computers.
             b.  Filing systems and information management.

                  c.       Computer literate. Well-versed with Windows, word processing
                           (preferably MS Word), spreadsheets (preferably Excel), desktop
                           publishing.

         2.       ABILITY TO:
                  a.    Relate well to the public, in person and on the telephone.
                  b.    Diplomatic, tactful, creative, discreet, flexible, resourceful,
                        dependable, well-organized, friendly, emotionally mature and
                        professional.
                  c.    Work effectively with multiple supervisors, balance and prioritize
                        multiple requests.
                  d.    Be capable and practiced in handling complex and/or multi-faceted
                        tasks.
                  e.    Perform effective office (clerical/secretarial), time management, and
                        organizational skills.
