An Independent Review on Fuel Poverty Final Report Published
An independent report has been published today advising the government how it could best tackle the problem of fuel poverty.
The latest official fuel poverty figures show 4m households in England in fuel poverty, compared to 1.2m in 2004.
Professor John Hills of the London School of Economics started his research in March last year looking at the definition of fuel
poverty, targets, and the effectiveness of different policy interventions.

Report

Personalisation: lessons from social care
This report looks at the challenges of quality and funding for the adult social care sector and the need for change in the way we
fund, manage and deliver social care. Alongside this it looks at the focus on direct payments and personal budgets and concludes
that the success of the personalisation agenda in future will depend upon the nature of future supply and demand for public
services.
