RUTGERS SCHOOL OF LAW – SPRING 2009 EXAMINATION SCHEDULE

Advisory Notice: Rutgers Law School publishes in advance a final examination schedule which
is not subject to change after the advance registration period is completed. Courses are
scheduled at the law school so that students may not select course loads with conflicting
examinations (i.e., exams which occur simultaneously); however, it is ultimately the student’s
responsibility to ensure that exams do not conflict. In addition, first-year examinations are
scheduled to equalize the intervals between tests and, when possible, to provide a break between
upperclass examinations. Students are urged not to construct a course load which produces
unduly burdensome examination requirements. Rutgers School of Law-Camden does not grant
deferments because a student has selected an over-taxing examination schedule.

INTENSIVE COURSE EXAM:
The exam for Cuban Legal System will be self-scheduled from March 1 through March 8, 2009.

COURSES WITH SELF-SCHEDULED EXAMS:
Some professors do not opt for date certain exams. Rather, students may take an exam on any day of the

open for some days, but not all days, of an exam period. For scheduling purposes, the approximate exam
