Know the following terms for your exam. You MUST complete this study guide BEFORE the
exam! It will count as part of your exam grade. A basic definition will not be enough to ensure
success on this exam. You must know what each term means as well as the era it refers to and
other terms on the list it relates to. You need to know how to apply these terms as there will
be an essay portion that will require you to synthesize parts of all the topics we have addressed
so far this semester, showing you understand the complex relations between topics. There are
a lot of terms but many have been covered in your warm-ups and almost all have been
addressed through in-class notes. Good luck!
