             database tools

   B. Demonstrate the ability to create, delete, and modify associated files, tablespaces,
      segments, extents, and blocks
      The student will:
 Create, delete, and modify associated files, tablespaces, segments, extents,
             and blocks

   C. Start up and shut down an Oracle instance and database

Database Control Interface that reflect the background processes that
             perform database operations
 Use data dictionary views to monitor database structures and activities
 Use SQL to create, modify, or remove redo log files, control files, and
database-generated diagnostic files and understand the concepts
 Identify the physical and logical structures that make up the database
 Use SQL to create, modify, and drop many types of tables and indexes
using additional clauses that control storage setting, LOB storage, and
             partitioning

   G. Solve problems and build employability skills such as critical thinking, reading,
work ethic, attitude, teamwork and writing
      The student will:
 Use critical thinking skills to create database programming assignments
 Use reading skills to read technical information regarding software and
             programming solutions
 Use critical thinking skills to complete projects and assignments by due
             dates
 Use listening skills to successfully complete programming projects
