ACCESS TO Hazard Abatement (HA) DATABASE
The HA Database is located on the NAVFAC Intranet Portal.
To access the database, follow the directions below:
1. Paste or type this link into the web address line: http://www.navfac.navy.mil/safety
On the Security Alert screen that comes up, click “Yes” to continue.
2. On the NAVFAC Safety webpage; click on “Hazard Abatement” and if you have a certificate
(or several), a window will appear that allows you to choose which of these to use for access to
the database. Select your choice in the window and then click “OK.”
3. Continue clicking “OK” or “Continue” until a screen appears that asks for your SSO email
address and password.
a. Fill in the information in *Single Sign On (SSO) email and password and click “Login”.

Any non-NAVFAC personnel needing access to the NAVFAC Portal intranet must be sponsored by a NAVFAC
employee to gain access. Once asked for sponsor info; enter the following info: David Wiggins,
David.Wiggins@navy.mil Ph # (202) 685-9215 Reason for request: To access the MP/HA Database.
You will receive an email noting your approval and providing a link to log onto the NAVFAC Portal. Enter your email
address and your password. Once in the Portal find “NAVFAC Safety Information” on the left side in the middle.
Click on this link then click on “Hazard Abatement” on the Safety webpage.
If you have never registered for the HA database, at this point, you will need to click on “Register
for an HA Account” and follow the directions provided.
If you have forgotten your HA Password or ID; click on “Forgot Account Information” box and the
info will be sent to the email address you provided at registration.
