PURPOSE:

        The State of Wisconsin will use the funds for two projects: Simple Object Access
Protocol (SOAP) data transition standard (DTS) and the integrated justice information system
(IJIS) Model County. SOAP/DTS will provide a common language mechanism for sharing data
between all agencies. The IJIS Model County project will install a state standard prosecutor
system and create a standard prototype law enforcement data transport tool to allow sharing
between prosecutors and law enforcement agencies.
