RE: New Kitchen Plan at Ashcroft Place - Perfect for Holiday Entertaining
With the winter holidays upon us and large family dinners on everyone’s mind, the focus, for
homebuyers, is on big kitchens with convenient islands that include seating, smartly planned cook spaces;
convenient islands, eating areas, and access to adjacent entertaining space.
This perfectly describes the new kitchen plan in the Birch home at Ashcroft Place in Oswego, designed
with gourmet features such as an oversized island and plenty of counter space
“Kitchens are always a priority design consideration for Wiseman-Hughes,” said the homebuilder’s
marketing director, Gail Payonk. “Our buyers prefer as large an island as possible and one that provides
space for meal planning, entertaining, or just a coffee break with the morning paper.
“Our previous island was angled with a raised breakfast bar, which our buyers also loved, but when we
found we could give them a larger island with more cabinets for the same price – the decision to rework the
plan was an easy one.”
The Birch, with a base price of $302,400, is a popular two-story home with a stately exterior and 2,514
square feet of living space. The plan includes three bedrooms plus a master suite, 2 1/2 baths, a living room,
dining room, family room, a kitchen with a gourmet layout, first-floor laundry room, two-car garage, and a
