Review of Student DPR data for CICO Pilot                    graphs show that 4 are at or above their goal of 80%, so they will continue with
                                                             data review scheduled in 2 weeks to see if they meet data decision rule for fading
                                                             at that time.
                                                             One student’s data was reviewed due to poor response. After reviewing the
                                                             Fidelity of Implementation Checklist, it was determined that CICO is not being
                                                             implemented with fidelity due to the DPR not being consistently completed and the
                                                             student not consistently checking-out. Barb Mitchell will retrain the classroom
                                                             teacher on completing the DPR and providing positive feedback and will also
                                                             arrange for an older student on the intervention to pick-up the student for check-

New Students meeting Data Decision Rule for Tier 2           Diane Feeley reported that no new students have met the data decision rule for

Review of Action Plan Steps Updates                     At our last training, we documented Day 4 Action Plan Steps and assigned
                                                        responsibilities and timeline for completion.

                                                        Terry Bigby reported that the team is continuing work on the Tier 2 handbook as
                                                        well as developing orientation materials for staff, students, and parents. She will
                                                        place the documents in the team member’s mailboxes by March 15 and team
                                                        members will provide written feedback and return to her mailbox .                      Terry Bigby      March 12, 2012

                                                        Deb Childs reported that she has visited with 2 staff members, Ida Rose and Jerry
                                                        Thomas, about becoming additional CICO facilitators next year. They have agreed

                                                        The team reviewed the Checklist for Tier 2 Handbook to determine if we have all
                                                        items that should be included. The review indicated that the handbook is up to
                                                        date.

Intervention Planning Guide follow-up discussion        At our last team training, we reviewed and practiced with the Intervention Planning
                                                        Guide as a possible tool to use for collecting and documenting student information,
                                                        identifying the problem, selecting and planning the intervention, setting goals, and
                                                        tracking student and adult response to the intervention. We decided at that
                                                        training that we would individually review the Intervention Planning Guide prior to
                                                        this meeting and discuss it further today. All team members reported they had
                                                        reviewed the Intervention Planning Guide and see it as a useful tool for data
                                                        collection and decision-making. Several team members have expressed concern
                                                        about the capacity the team had time-wise to complete one for each student. Deb
                                                        Childs reconfirmed that teachers will only complete the first two pages and the
                                                        team will complete the remainder of the guide. Diane Feeley proposed that the
                                                        team complete the Intervention Planning Guide for the next two students who
                                                        meet the data decision rule for Tier 2 intervention. This would give the team the
                                                        opportunity to build fluency completing the guide as well as the opportunity to
                                                        develop the system for collecting the data. A consensus vote was taken with all
                                                        team members agreeing with “thumbs up”.

Staff CICO training                                       Right now, the only staff trained on completing the DPR and providing positive
                                                          feedback based upon the DPR are those teachers involved in the pilot. When we go
                                                          full scale next year, we will need everyone trained. Deb Childs reported that she
                                                          will schedule 45 minutes for staff CICO training to take place by May 1. We will use
                                                          the Tier 2 Toolkit materials and training videos as resources for this training.       Deb Childs      May 1, 2012
