Instructions for Posters
The poster board assigned to each presenter will be 6’x4’. Each presentation should contain a top panel listing, the title of the abstract, the names of the authors, and the institutional affiliations. The lettering in the section should not be less than 1” high. See sample below for poster layout example. We will assign a number to your abstract. The number will be included in the abstract section of the program, and we will pin it on the poster board you are to use. We will provide pins however; we would prefer to have the poster outputted onto one paper. Med Photography is able to do this. Please let us know if your poster will be push pinned or outputted on one piece of paper. If poster is to be considered for an award, please clearly indicate the category (1) Pre-doc/Post-doc or (2) Faculty/Staff in the upper left corner near the abstract number. Keep in mind: • The lettering should be at least large, bold type- all type needs to be legible from a distance • Keep illustrations and tables simple • Lines in graphs should be heavy. Symbols, letters, and numbers should be large enough to be seen from a distance of 6’.
