Galway won easily, their second title in four years. At half time it was Galway 5-
11 : 0-05 Meath. With 3-2 coming from Padraic Joyce 30 seconds into the second
half Meehan scored another goal to make it 6-11 : 0-05 Meath then scored 3 points and Galway scored 7. It remained 6-18 :
0-08 until 12 minuted to go til Joyce scored another goal. [7-18:0-08] With 4 minuted to go Joyce once again scored a goal
and 2 points [8-20 : 0-08] To late free for Galway meant Joyce put 2 more points on the board. Final score Galway 8-22 : 0-
